Rani Crowe’s Latest Accomplishments

Since April, Rani Deighe Crowe’s short film, Heather Has Four Moms, won the award for Best Short Film at Cinema Systers Film Festival in Padukah, KY, and the Audience Choice Award at Dyke Drama Film Festival in Perth, Australia. Other recognitions for Heather has Four Moms and her other projects from August, September, and October are below:

Rani’s short film, Beautiful Eyes:

  • Screened with “Best of Final Girls Women in Horror Film Festival” at Philadelphia Museum of Contemporary Art, in July
  • Screened at Spook Show Film Festival, Matoon, IL in August
  • Selected by GRRRL HAUS for their fest at Alamo Draft House in Yokers, NY in October.

Rani’s short film, Texting: A Love Story screened at the festival, Suburbinale, in the suburbs of Vienna, Austria in September.

Rani’s TV pilot script, Recess Duty, based on her short story by the same name, was an official selection for the Atlanta Comedy Film Festival.

Rani’s short story, Church of Denial, was published this August in the inaugural edition of Delay Fiction:
